Viviane is a provisional psychologist who practices in spirit of ( or in accordance with) a compassionate, safe and non-judgmental therapeutic alliance. Viviane employs evidence-based practices and pursues a holistic approach in mental health acre and well-being.
In her practice, Viviane focuses on interventions that can create positive changes on emotional, cognitive and behavioural domains. Viviane utilises an integrative therapeutic model to tailor therapeutic techniques to each client’s unique needs.
Viviane is well-versed on the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, making use of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology and Psychodynamic interventions whenever required to achieve optimal psychological care and client’s satisfaction. Viviane has obtained professional experience in various private practice and psychiatrist settings, including the Northern Beaches Hospital.
Viviane can assist in the assessment and treatment of a range of conditions including mood and anxiety disorders, low self- esteem, grief and loss, life transitions and adjustments, and stress management. Viviane has a special interest in fertility problems, perinatal mental health.
Viviane holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Macquarie University and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced from Monash University. Viviane is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
