Biography

Elham is a registered psychologist with extensive clinical experience working in a diverse range of community mental health settings, including adult and acute mental health, child and youth mental health and transcultural mental health. Elham has obtained a Masters in Family Studies – specialising in Intensive Family Practice and Couples Therapy from the University of Newcastle (2014). Elham has a special interest in the areas of childhood trauma, PTSD, couples and family relationships.

Elham has also obtained training and professional experience in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Focused Therapy, and Imagery Rescripting.

Elham speaks Farsi and enjoys working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
